I think he is learning a lesson from Hugo Viana. At that age I think they would rather play and establish themselves as great players instead of sitting the bench. Viana is regreting the move I think Ronaldo is seeing a chance to play at Sporting and he will take it and run with it.

I also read Juve was interested in Quaresma. This might be a busy transfer season for Sporting.
