The CM Challenge: MLS League

So as discussed in the other thread, we're making this MLS League for whoever wants to join. Up till now 5 people have showed interest, and the following teams have been claimed:

DC United - Madtimes
Metrostars - Kenzo
San Jose - Zizou

So for those that want to join claim a team before someone else takes it away :) Other teams which are very good are:

Chicago, Dallas, Kansas, Los Angeles.

I might be forgetting a team or two, but anyway choose your team :cool

After choosing the team, state when you are available to play, so we`ll choose dates. Preferably weekdays between 5:30 and 7/8pm (CET).

Any ideas or suggestions are most welcome.

Yep they do have teams but are not that good. Chicago are quite good so good choice.

Everyday apart from Monday and Wednesday (work) most tuesdays from 7 (footy) and i also cant do saturdays. so basically thats thursdays, fridays and sundays for me and a few tuesdays.

Ok so we`re 6, seems a good number for the MLS league especially since there are 8 playoff places, would be fun to have all of us qualified and fight each other :)

Anyway from what I`m gather, I think the best thing is to start on Tuesday at 5:30 (CET). I`ll let you know the IP number (I think it's 212.56.144.73, but I could be wrong cos I don`t have it in front of me) once it`s all setup so on Tuesday you can connect, and we`ll use that day to start building our teams etc. If we have time (cos we can play till 8pm CET), we`ll start the league. We usually chat on msn while playing so not to slow the game down with it`s chat system. Any ideas or suggestions are most welcome.

BTW the teams are as follows:

Zizou - San Jose (East Group)
Kenzo - Metrostars (West Group)
Dougie_LFC - Dallas (Central Group)
Manic Loop - Chicago (Central Group)
Mad_Times - DC United (West Group)
Crewie - Los Angeles (East Group)

By a weird coincidence, we are 2 teams in each group which will make it more interesting.

No it`s an hour ahead of GMT that is in England it would be 4:30

Don`t forget whoever is going to join, that tomorrow Tuesday 8th October we`re playing at 5:30 CET (4:30 GMT). So try and be there at that time. We will start at that hour, if anyone is late he can join on.

We will be playing at most between 5:30 till 8. What you could do, you can log on for half an hour, and do your business, then go on holiday and instruct your Ass man what to do for the remaining hours.

We haven`t decided yet...how about next Monday same time? Don`t know if you guys agree, you`ll decide but I suggest that if on any date, there is just one person who cannot make it, we can still play, and the ass man will take over. Anyway up to you guys.

About yesterday`s game no one posted the pics ? :)

For those that are interested to know, we (me, mad_times, crewie, manic loop and kenzo) played till the first matchday, where we had mixed results (2 wins and 3 losses). So we`re practically gearing up now, and the next session will probably compromise a good number of games.
