you all know me, but i didnt know CM until a week ago.. i tried a season with a top level second division german team.. and they couldnt win no matter what i tried..and i was being beaten by crappy teams with bad formations... i just dont get it

went through countless tactics and line-ups but nothing seemed to click (this team is rated top 3 of 18 teams)..

so i ask, where can i get a great young defender, striker and attacking midfielder for cheap $$$ (under 2 million)

i tried to go the old proven player method with no succes.. and i tried the theory of loading my team with a few new young prospects but the board didnt have the patience....and how long does it take before prospects get better?

well i would appreciate any help you all could give me, thanks

the formation is the key

some variotion of 4-4-2 is usually succesfull. Maybe with a DMC or AMC.. or 4-5-1 with both DMC and AMC.

without a proper formation you lose regardless how good your players are.

To keep it simple to start mate, go with the 4-1-3-2 pre loaded tactic. Whatever you do, dont change tactics mid season, only change between seasons.

Other tips would be dont do a any major rotation policy, I know players need resting (try to keep condition above 90% for starting XI) but have your XI and stick with it, unless they play poor.

Regards players;

GKs-Youngsters - Pinheiro (£80k), Margaritis, Douchez, Voulgaris. Older players - The cruz azul keeper, he is awesome.

DFs - Radoi, Madouni, Lequi, Zheng (dm/dc), indio (rb), Byrnes from Paramatta Power. Older players - Taribo West, Siggi Jonhson, Teddy Lucic, Ivan Hurtado, Ijah Anderson, Assane N'diaye(shaktar), Okoronkwo (Shaktar)

MDs - Croce (AM/FR) Xinbo Sun, Mark Kerr, Mariano (Gymnasia LP), Djordevic and Zetterberg(Olympiakos).

SCs - To Madeira, Tsigalko, Shane Tolley, Cavenaghi (River), Mads Timm, George Weah.

Follow what I say and you will do good :xyxthumbs

Cheers Jere.

Orswich,

Also have a look at a player at Lyn. Name starts with Hadz (cant remember full spelling) :)

I would also say that prospects (if they are genuine prospects) will get very good stats within first 2 seasons max (providing they play often enough). With you only having the demo you wont see huge improvement over 6months.

actually i found a full version of 2001-2002.. dont ask where

so it is important to me to have great youth.. i have a few that i picked up all between 18-21.. a czech defender and a polish defender, both on thier national teams.. christoph preub and jermaine jones on the german U-21, and some hotshot young dutch AM .. i give them good playing time (especially the defenders as frankfurts defending cant get much worse).. and now i can hope for the best..

as for my formation i have adopted a 4-3-3 which works rather well i have started a new season and have a 4-1-2 record, alot better than last two attempts.. my formation allows me to go forward or defend depending on slight changes i make in the settings and players...

so i think i'm on th right track for now.. but continue giving me young prospects, could make a few more signings for my amateur team

Then get that guy whos name begins with Hadz (surname that is), To Madeira, Mark kerr, Okoronkwo (shaktar) and Douchez.

That gives you 5 players that can cover the whole pitch with their various positions. (no not at once before someone tries being funny :) )

I think you should go for experienced 30+ players since you`re a 2nd division team. Soldi 30+ players always succeed in getting averga ratings of 8 or so especially defenders.

So Orswich are you enjoying cm? How do you find it? Addicted like us? :)

Yeah that`s why he I suggest he should go for the old guns rather than for the young ones. Old ones are more reliable, so forget the young ones and ask for old players :)

At most search for young players that are available on loan.

Has your asst. manager got a set way of playing ie offside trap, if he has no preference get rid of him and find someone who does, also on player search do general search with mid to high marks on such things as positional play or creativity. You can find someone in the lower depths of a league or non league such Ronnie Green at Kingstonian or Carl Laurie at Hyde they each cost about £30,000 each and are worth over £2m five seasons later. Good luck

kim kallstrom is a must buy, him and jonal lunden. also civard sprockel. scout the portuguese leagues. full of decent young players there, who are very cheap. also try prutton from nottingham forest, becomes very good. and if you have the cash ronaldinho is very very very good. strikers, brutil hose will do a job for cheap, or just check out the swedes, but best of all is this guy, hes cheap, reliable and scores, maxim tsikaglo (belarussian) very good

Pawel Brozek
Chiotis (GK)
Keigan Parker
Bovar Karim
Langfield (GK)

Vaschuck and Holovko go cheap (under a mil) and they are solid.
