i reckon owen , baros, heskey and diouf shud all play upfront in a 4 2 4 with gerrard and hamman in midfield as they are the best in the world.

i wouldnt play 4-2-4 but possibly a 4-3-1-2
with
GK:Dudek
DL:Riise
DR:Carragher (until Babbel is back)
DC:Hyypia and Henchoz
MC:Murphy
MC:Gerrard
MC:Hamman
AM:Cheyrou/Diouf
F: Owen
F:Baros/Heskey

with Cheyrou and Baros i'd play them occasionally as they're younger

Well that is what we have been playing lately and has the makings to work. This season we have created a lot more chances than we did last season so even though it is early days it looks good.
