i saw a player earning £120,000 a wekk the other day and it set me thinking, whats the highest you ever seen paid to a player. ive only ever paid a player £40,000 at most in my games, but thats down to me choosing small teams mostly

Ive seen £160k but I try to keep mine low as possible.

Well to suceed in getting star players, I always give max wage and bonuses, so my expenses are always high :) No wonder my chairman gets changed every 2 years hehe

I always try and keep my as low as possible, for instance if a player asks for £70k plus £3m I will offer £50k plus £1m in the first instance, this almost always works with current squad and players for who you are the sole bidder. If the competition is hot then I offer what they ask and chuck in better bonuses and a relegation release clause.

Well in one game I was paying 1 player £140k and one other £120k, and I wondered why I was in trouble! I generally get a bit of a wage problem every few years, then I have a clearout.

Yes, and where did you get the cash to finance all of this? Possibly from the "i'm a cheat," centre for cheating in cheatsville?

Cheat! :razz
