maybe juventus1887 is right :drinkbeer :laugh . well now the names are : benjamin, lukas, piotr, bastian,mike, aaron, mimoun, philipp,alexander, christoph, michael, sebastian,florian,eugene,miroslav,paul,sahr, kevin-prince, ashkan,and even mustafa. although there are some youngs like andreas hinkel who reminds me of andreas brehme or andreas moller , or oliver hampel which reminds me oliver bierhoff .

Names are like fashion. What was fashionable in the 70s, my mother was wearing is now "hotstuff"
Names will come back. But why do names like miroslav and mustafa so common is pretty simple. Most of the football members come from mixed families or their families moved to Germany.

For example Miroslav is a slavic name, just for the rcuriosity miro means peace, peacefull and slav as in slava(glory) means, to have a good reputation, to be famous...

those polish names have been around forever same like mustafa as an arabic names they were used then and used now.

kevin,paul,chris,michael sound more american to me and they were used in the usa 100 years ago and still used now but i guess Germany now as with alot of other countries are influenced by American culture with hollywood,mcdonalds etc .......

its kinda sad ,makes u lose your identity,fcb said it u hear mustafa or miroslave u know that theyre linked to turkey and poland but now u hear michael ....
