Even though it was a friendly it was nice to see Smithy score a well taken goal, he worked his socks off and deservedly picked up man of the match. Bowyer on his first cap settled in as if it were his 20th with no mishaps or mistakes. The rest of the Leeds lads played constructive parts with Woody holding his own regardless of taking a knock early on. Mill`s was his usual solid self but i felt Robbo could have got a run out in the second half but theres still plenty of time for the lad, who has been heavily praised by ex England keeper Peter Shilton on his performances so far to date.

Good summary Rev, it was great to see Smithy score, especially from a Bo cross. Lets hope for a repeat next saturday. :)

He ran the show. Better than the rubbish Owen & Heskey served up.
Smithy should be made the King of England!

[quote][b] How bad was Heskey again, what does Sven and Houllier see in the guy :no
I know, I was thinking that there is some sort of contract that Sven has signed saying that he'll play Heskey every game for a full 90 minutes.
He's crap! He's not an international, no way!!!!!!

I think Smith should be Owen's partner now. Heskey is just pure dog shite and there isnt really anyone else left :sad

Sven needs to give Smithy a run off 5 or 6 games, let him settle in and get a partnership going with Owen, these 2 will be a world class strike force given a little bit of time
