Schalke's Gerald Asamoah has confirmed that he is willing to listen to the club as they seek to extend his spell in Die Bundesliga.
The German international is currently tied to the Arena AufSchalke until 2006, and his adviser Jurgen Milewski has admitted that a queue of clubs are willing to recruit him.
The Royal-Blues are believed to have tabled a more lucrative offer until 2009 and the Ghana-born forward seems ready to stay on with the Gelsenkirchen based club.
"I am feeling very well here and I can easily imagine staying for another while," said Asamoah.
Schalke are keen to hold onto the 26-year-old who has recently reclaimed his place in the national squad.
Asamoah has been called upon by Jurgen Klinsmann after being overlooked by previous boss Rudi Voller since the World Cup final of 2002.
The powerful forward is in excellent form of late, and his impressive performances in the German top flight have made him indispensable to the title-chasers.
"He is a vital part of Schalke and the fans love him, I can't imagine that he would line up for any other club," declared Schalke director of sport Andreas Muller.
I hope Schalke keep building a good squad, It will make it oh so much better when Bayern win the league that way :D
It can only be good for German football as a whole.
