OK people, this is really bad.
A few days ago I continued my old Peterborough United game. I am in the Premiership. And as the new season begun I actually did programme notes for the new season. On my PC. And I saved it. And I worked really hard on it. :cry
If I get enough response I might post them up here, I also heard someone was so obsessed he actually put on a Suit for champ cup finals, but I don't have a suit.

I sold Shane Tolley, I didn't realise how good he was and I needed the 400k I got for him!
It's not easy at all, and here, as requested, are the progamme notes for season 2006/07:
It's a good time to be a Posh fan.
Season 2006/07 will be Peterborough United's fourth season in the Premier Division, and there has never been a better time to be a Posh fan. There is a real excitement about our prospects this year. I haven't felt better about the start of a season in my entire time at the club.
The club is in fantastic shape now. Every year we maintain our Premiership status we rake in more income, allowing us to improve the club both on the field and off it. This summer, the board have invested heavily on the club. London Road now has under-soil heating, meaning less chance of fixture cancelation in the colder months, and the board have upgraded our training facilities to Premier League standard. We have even begun a youth academy, which we can hopefully use to find the best young footballers out there.
Previously, my feeling was that while we could match the Premier League clubs on the pitch, off it we were lagging behind. Don't forget that it wasn't long ago that this club was in Division 3. For the last three years we have essentailly been a Division 2 club with Premiership players.
But now the investments of the board, television revenue, prize money, and of course more season tickets sold than ever before, have improved the club. Peterborough is run much better now. We have the facilities to compete.
The transfer campaign is also cause for optimism. In the last three seasons, particularly our first two years in the top flight, our transfer campaign was based on using our money effectively, signing inexpensive players with experience, determination and drive, players who would fight with all they had to achieve the objective - keeping us up. The transfer campaign was more of a mad dash around europe, bargain-hunting.
This year there has been a noticeable difference. Quality is the buzzword. Aside from the usual bosman free transfers, £15 million has been spend on two players, Italian international Alex Pinardi and young englishman Peter Haslam, already capped at the age of 22. These are players who are going to improve with the club, and who will make the club better.
Of course, as ever, players must go as well. Dianbobo Balde, probably the best defender ever to play for the Posh, has left on a free to further his career with Manchester City. Richard Rufus and goalie Alejandro were sold on. Several youth players were released. More may leave before the year is out. This is not a negative thing - we aren't going to be seen as a "selling club." This is the transition, based on our optimism and hope of a higher finish this year. It's unfair to keep players who aren't going to be featuring regularly at the club. The squad needs thinning down - then we can change the direction of the club.
With the confusion of modern football, it is sometimes difficult to see what the target is for a club. But the target is simple - to do better than last year. We are not one of those clubs who are satisfied with "17th and higher." We want to improve, and to move into that group of teams that can win trophies. And this year, I believe we can move into that group.
It's a good time to be a posh fan.
It should be noted we finished this season 16th. I'll put my next one up here after I complete another season or two.

We Deserve Better
Last season begun full of promise. New players, new hopes. That is, until the season started.
We lost 20 league games last season, and gathered only a meagre 10 away points. In total, we gained only 42 points. That's a bad season.
Yet the team showed promise. For a spell in the winter, we were playing excellent football. We improved in the cup competitions, with a best-ever quarter final finish in the FA Cup, and losers medals in the League Cup. At one time we reached 7th position in the league. However, we were always playing catch-up after our poor early-season performance, and the end of season run of form which we have been famed for in past seasons did not materialise.
The club picked up 2 points between the Chelsea FA Cup quarter-final and the end of the season. Similarly, we were bottom at one stage in the early season, having played more times than the teams above us. The away form was unacceptable.
In a way, last season showed us how far we have come. Just five or six years ago, who would have thought that the club would be in the Premiership and disappointed with a 16th place finish. It highlights the high standards we have rightly set ourself over the last few years. We have to look at the positive. Luke Beckett had a great season, and all of the new signings settled in well. The team, at times, were fantastic. If we can keep the form of December-January consistantly then we should be able to reach higher league placings. We were fantastic in the cup competitions. And even though 16th was disappointing, it's not a disaster. We're still in the Premiership. No harm done.
We can now try to improve this year. We have signed a couple of players who can add to the squad. Mendy and Darlas are two defenders of real class, Bizarri is a good goalkeeper, and young striker Holland has showed a lot of promise in pre-season. Expect him to be one of the surprises of the season. Other youth players, like Lewis Emanuel, are developing to push for first-team places.
Last year was bad, certainly. But it was no disaster. Each year we can learn more. The target is the same as last year - improve on last season, and try to move up into the top group of teams. The last year will make us stronger. And against Leeds on Saturday we may find out how strong.
We finished 2nd.
