BVB need to get back in shape before they loss one too many pionts. They may be so far behind, a Schalke or Bayern slip up might not help.

They need to open their mouths now, not when they are 3 points away from the championship.

Yeah, where is Schalke81? I have not seen him in a while. And it matters what your score is at the end of the season, not the start.

Leverkusen couldn't cut it, so BVB took the ball and ran with it.

And it matters what your score is at the end of the season, not the start.
but it doesnt matter when the matches are played, because a win at the start of the season is worth THREE points, and a win at the end, last time i checked, is ALSO worth THREE points. Games at the start are just as important at the end, because it is the early games that make the end games worht what they are!!( if that makes sense)
Schalke are in some bloody top form, if the result last weekend is anything to go by. I believe that vermant was sent of in the 30's and kaiserlautern were at that stage leading. So, to a) come back and level and b) restrict lautern to nothing and then c) win 3-1 is a bloody good effort. Kaiserlautern are defiantely no push over either, especially at home, so it was a fantastic result. Schalke couldnt have had a better start. Dortmund chances are all but gone, leverkusen never had any realistic chance anyway, so all we have to do is worry about bayern now. This weekend against hertha will be an absolute cracker- with huub stevens returning to aufschalkearena. to me, this is a very important game, as hertha are better than the teams we have played so far, and we are still decimated by injuries. A win would be fantastic, and we are favoured by playing at home. but it will be easy to slip up and draw or lose this one and we need a win to keep bayern at distance, who have a hard task at hamburg, but they will still probably win. The objective is to get aas many points in front of bayern as possible, then when they finally 'gel' (as kahn put it) they will steamroll home, but hopefully will be too far behind in the first place. but so far, all is going to plan!!

All the pionts at all times are equal. For instance, Valencia were in seventh place mid-season, then went on to win the La Liga. It is the final piont total that matter. I don't see any league games, and am lucky to catch a CL match. So I am a stats man. I don't want heart, I don't want a good effort. What I want from BVB is another Bundesliga championship. And maybe a Germany Cup.

true they havent lost yet, nor have they won a game yet! but if i may inform you jere, teams don't exactly go too far when they draw every match!!! although you lead 1-0 aginst stuttgart at the mo (40 minutes in) so you may yet actually win a game!!! i can't believe Leverkusen are also 3-1 down at HOME aginst BOCHUM!!! can you beleive it!!!! never realised just how important, and how much of a champion player Ballack is!! they are absolutely gone now!!
