View Full Version : New A-League Forum
Hey guys,
I contacted the guys that run the forum and they said that if I get 4-5 regular users to sign on for an a thread for the new A-League, they'll give us it.
So I need 4-5 (or more) Australian users to join up so we can get a topic about our own league! :clap
Cheers :drinkbeer

Count me in, im so excited about it, Gonna be at every lions game, for the youth and seniors this year:D:D
Well actually they wont be called the Lions as they don't want any confusion with the AFL's Brisbane Lions - so expect a name change! ;)
I've contacted, zib, AFCforever, Kewell and Leper. If those guys sign up that gives us 6 in total, plus a few more would sign up after.
..So are you guys in?

Count me in. I'm excited about the new A-League and the prospects of Melbourne.
They're looking to be a good team, signing Archie Thompson and their latest signings today of Ferrante and Lia.
That's 4 people down, 2 more to go! Apart from Zib and AFCforever, who I've already PM'd do you guys know anymore Aussies on the board?

well id stick my head in every now and then, cathc up wiyth all things antipodean
can you tell me are auckland going to be in it? and are perth going to be dominant again?
Yeah there is a New Zealand team however they have changed their names from the Football Kingz to the New Zealand Knights.
I would say Perth is going to be a dominant team again. What with signing Simon Colosimo, who should do playing European football. However it seems that the whole league has really raised the standards, and the league will have a few big teams eg. Newcastle Utd Jets, Melbourne and Sydney, who have all brought in some great overseas talent.

I must say, I was mislead. I was thinking USA's A-League...though, if you guys provide some beginner's tips to the A-League, I wouldn't mind being a regular. That and I'm extending my influence into other boards and I haven't contaminated this one yet!

Well basically all you need to know is Perth used to dominate, however that might change this year. Here's a few sites:
