At the start of the season the introduction of Zidan put the club in a shakey position. Once they got used to the new style the were nearly unstoppable. Now the style is no longer new. It looks like Real will take the La Liga with ease. The only things that can stop them are a strong and determined Valencia, a inovative Deportivo, a lucky Celta Vigo, a Mendieta with leadership skills, or a large amount of small clubs who will through Real of course as they did last season. Real could have won the league if they had not lost little matches to even smaller clubs. It seems that Real have a way of lossing to little clubs facing religation. It will not be a team effort that will be needed to take down mighty Real, it will be a league effort.

With Riquelme and Mendieta bolstering their attack (and with Saviola now fully bedded in) I think Barcelona should win the Liga. :cool
:cool :cool Rivaldo leaving could be as much a blessing as a curse - removing him removes their reliance (actual or supposed) on him.
Personally I hope Depor gives it a good shot this year (my favourite Spanish team) :)
I just hope an attacking team wins it this year. For all the flair and goals in la Liga - a solid Valencia was just dull to watch last year :sleep - hopefully they can be toppled this year
