Hey, you guys heard of this guy? He is a german who was just voted the best player in Austria. He is young, 24 I think. Apparently he moved to Rapid along with Matthaus and stayed.

Anyone know anything about him?

i know that the vfb have interest to buy him. Good playmaker and i hope he could proof his class in a better league.

Austria may not have a great league but being chosen the best player out of hundreds of others is certainly something to look at. He is also very young and apparently a playmaker type, that is definitely something Germany could use.

Other thing is he is thinking about playing for the Austrian National team, so perhaps klinsmann should select him just so he can play for us in the future.

Loew has already stated that Mike Hanke has a chance to be called up.

Nevertheless, Schroter, Madlung, Hoffman, Odonkor, Engelhardt and M.Friedrich are the players that i really want Klinsi to have a look at. I'll say Schroter is probably the best player out of the six but Hoffman is also not bad as an option.

I dont see Schröter being that good. He has a great phase now. Lets wait how long it will last.

he already played for the "team 2006" so i think he's not able to play for another country ....

hoffman is another ex bayern amateur ,he's good friends with hargreaves they played together
