Albertz set for SPL return
Jorg Albertz is set to return to Scotland with Richard Gough Livingston.
Gough is looking to bring the German midfielder in on a free transfer, and Albertz is already in Scotland talking over a switch to Almondvale.
The 33-year-old played with Gough at Rangers and could renew acquaintances at Livi, if the deal goes ahead.
Elber in Gladbach talks
Lyon's injured striker Giovane Elber has confirmed he has held preliminary talks with Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Brazilian ace is currently on the sidelines after undergoing a knee operation, but is expected to return to training in the coming months.
Elber, formerly of Bayern Munich, is keen to seal a Bundesliga return and has spoken to Gladbach sporting director Christian Hochstatter - although nothing has been agreed.
The Samba star has stated Lyon will demand a fee for his services, but added the club are willing to let him depart Stade de Gerland.
"It is true that we met [with Hochstatter] but nothing has been determined yet," Elber told the Bild daily.
"Gladbach has a good name and my former team-mate Stefan Effenberg told me good things about the club.
"Lyon will certainly want a fee for me but they have promised me they will not stand in the way of a move."
