Bundesliga Zwei outfit 1860 Munich have sacked coach Rudi Bommer after a disappointing season so far.
The Lions, who started the season as promotion favourites, are currently a massive 14 points behind leaders Cologne and Duisburg after just five wins in 15 games this term.
"All you have to do is to look at the current table," said 1860 chairman Roland Kneissl when announcing the news of Bommer's departure.
"That is everything other than what we had planned for this season."
Former Burghausen boss Bommer, who only joined 1860 after their Bundesliga relegation last summer, will be replaced by his assistant Reiner Maurer.
I hope that they get promoted it would be horrible for Bayern to go another season without the chance to whoop Lowen.
Does anyone know if Matthias Lehmann is any good?
