Borussia Monchengladbach's Dutch boss Dick Advocaat is set to raid his home country in January.

Advocaat is looking to strengthen his attack and he has set his sights on a trio of players plying their trade in De Eredivisie.

Feyenoord pair Thomas Buffel and Danko Lazovic and Ajax striker Wesley Sonck are the three to have caught the eye of the former Oranje boss.

All three have slipped down the pecking order and could be open to a change of scenery in January.

Gladbach are hovering just above the relegation places in Germany and are in desperate need of reinforcements, but they could well face competition for the likes of Buffel and Sonck in January.
