They have a away game on friday at Trier.

Maybe you want to look a game from an other team in the near of cologne.
Schalke will play at home against Bielefeld, but it is possible that the most tickets are sold.
Duisburg (i think about 30 minutes by train from cologne) plays on Friday against Eintracht Frankfurt.

I wouldnt try the Schalke match as it is likely to be sold out.

I would suggest to go to Duisburg if you want to watch some football
they have a very new stadium, are a top team in the 2nd league (#2) and play against one of the biggest clubs (tho not the most successful atm :rolleyes: ) in Germany :king

you can purchase tickets at the stadium before the match.
tickets are available for everyone, no restrictions in Germany (eg members)!
match will kick off at 7pm CET


there are plenty of good pubs in central Cologne :drinkbeer

although Cologne wont play, you could check out their stadium, its quite new and the World Cup 2006 will take place there.
I would say that only the cathedral is a more interesting building in Cologne ;)
