Malaga are weighing up a New Year move for German international striker Thomas Brdaric.
The Wolfsburg forward has emerged as a target for the Spanish side, who have struggled for goals this season.
The Liga outfit have scored just ten times this term, with their attack having been depleted by a series of injuries.
That has prompted the club to explore avenues for bringing in fresh firepower when the transfer window reopens in January.
Malaga have been scouring Europe for suitable signings and Brdaric appears to have shot to the top of their list.
Brdaric has netted five goals for Wolfsburg since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, after spending last season on loan at Hannover.
The 29-year-old, who played for Germany at Euro 2004, signed a three-year deal with Wolfsburg and the Bundesliga title contenders would be loath to lose Brdaric.
But Malaga could test Wolfsburg's resolve in the New Year, if they firm up their interest in the experienced attacker.
Do you think he will light up La liga. :USA_Blue
