Hanke is lucky when being a sub. Huth has great players ahead of him. But at Schalke Hanke cant even get past Sand. I wouldnt call him up.

IMO, the "new faces" should be restricted to 3-4 players. Some players who are helpful to the NT. Up front, I don't think we need strikers like Hanke or Auer. We already have Kuranyi and Klose who play in similar fashion but more experienced and better. Instead, we definitely need someone like Neuville or Podolski who are fast, skillful and creative up front to create more chances for Miro and Kuranyi. Out of the options we have, Odonkor or Lauth(when recover) are very good choices

Pander, Engelhardt, Madlung and Odonkor all deserve to be in the NT. Especially, Pander who impresses me a lot.....

Jürgen Klinsmann's side will travel east on 13 December, and meet Japan, the Korean Republic and Thailand in the space of a week. VfL Wolfsburg goalkeeper Jentzsch, FC Schalke 04 defender Pander and DSC Arminia Bielefeld midfielder Owomoyela - who has opted to play for the 2006 FIFA World Cup hosts rather than Nigeria - are all called up for the first time

i know klinsi said he wont tire out the players that need rest ,but if u look at the midfield all players come from bayern,leverkusen and bremen the three teams in champions league so im dissapointed he dint call another midfielder cuz i think we need to take this chance and experiment without ballack ,he could get injured before the worldcup and its all over cuz we depended too much on him and never tried out a plan b.

i wouldve loved to see deisler get some match practice but oh well and i know friedrich just came back from injury but it was only like a three week injury.

i expect owmoyela to play two games ,one at right back the other in midfield and maybe klinsi will try out different formations other than 4-4-2 just to experiment

oh,baumann will finally get on the field for germany but after that tour klinsman should ring the news for him and stop callin him up to warm the bench,just tell him that frings is first choice and ernst and borowski too are ahead of him and that he sux as a defender .

I don't think there's any time to experiment. Players like Owomoyela shouldn't be included in the first NT. They're better tried out in the 2006 team. WC is closing up and Klinsmann has to establish his team quickly. Keeping players in the "will I be in, will I be out" mood won't do any good.

Arne is a ****ign RB. anyone who doesn't realize this and can't get it through their ******* skull are beyond help. Why do you think Hertha never play him as a CB? He's the most skilled in that position. Better than Volz, better than anyone out there.

I think Friedrich is decent a rb but is more suited to cb. He doesnt look that comfortable going forward to me, especially compared to guys like Hinkel, Volz, Goerlitz, etc....Im not saying Arne cant attack, just not as good as these guys. He would be much better used centrally where he can add his pace to the defense. Huth and especially Worns dont have that much pace, he can help them out more centrally. Why not keep him central and let a guy who has better dribbling skills and technique play at rb? Makes more sense to me.
