Hi I must be the first Benfica fan here.
We won two European Cups in 62 and 63
We also went to four more finals

We lost to Manchester United in 1966 1-1 at the end of regulation and George Best went to work and the final score was 1-4.
We lost a European final against Inter Milan. In the days that no subs were allowed Benfica had to play with a defender in goalie. We lost 0-1.
And on top of everthing the final was played in Milan :roll-eyes

We lost going to a final when we tied Ajax two games were tied and then they flip a coin and we lost. :eek

I went to the Stadium Of Light back in 1991/2, when Arsenal visited there for the European Cup, massive stadium which was only 2/3 full but still had an attendance of 80,000, including about 1000 gooners.
