Arsenal are set to take advantage of Roma's stalling over a deal for Juventus ace Edgar Davids.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Gunners are ready to trump Roma by meeting Juve's £16 million asking price.

Roma are only prepared to offer £10 million plus Francisco Lima - which falls about £3.5 million short of Juve's total valuation.

Arsenal have been alerted to Roma's stubbornness and are now preparing to move for the Holland international with a straight cash offer.

I was a big Davids fan when he played for AJAX, but he has declined after that. Only his market value and hype has gone up, not skills.

We don´t need overpriced steroid loaded tweeners. We got Edu and Parlour to do the job.
