i saw this article and i though hang on we haven't been playing with three striketrs.

we [layed with 3 v scunthorpe and it didnt work, we needed width whcih you dont get with 3 midfielders

ah well i missed that game and don't even know who scored. I presume if we played 3 strikers they were king taylor and johnno. were 2 up front with one behind like johnson harewood and lester or just 3 out and out strikers.

Spose 3 strikers will depend on who we play from week to week?Its no good having 3 strikers if the opposition have a really good midfield? They just wouldnt justify playing 3 up front we would be on the back foot all the time trying to win the ball back rather than concentrate on scoring goals. A good midfield is the key to winning games plus a sturdy defence and it helps if ur strikers can notch a few goals lol Oh and get rid of calamity roche :woot i wouldnt trust him to hold anything expensive he'd probably drop the fooker :woot

Stick to what works best and whats proven to work.Its only a matter of time till we start playing like we ended last season.We only lost williams and got in some pretty good young talent so cant see why it shouldnt be buisness as usual when we get players back fit and with a bit of match practise under their belts :clap No team can lose talent like we have through injuries and be expected to perform in a top 6 manner :nono We are a good side,we know we have it in us to get up there with the best,If people are honest everyone would say we would be up near the top of the league if we hadnt lost Dawson & Morgan early on in the campaign.But these things happen in football & hopefully our injuries are now and it wont affect us later on in the season when it will matter most.

thompson as well. hes been forgotten in all this with his injury
