Reports in the papers suggest it's between these two players who will partner Prso, but who would you choose?
I would go for Phillips and with Arteta going now we'll have the money to get him.

Phillips. I'd even try an attempt to get Beattie.
I still think Prso is the biggest mistake ever. He was only a Sunday-league player about 6 years ago and he's 29. Think about it.

scored a few in the champions league, doesn't matter what he was doing a few years ago,it's what he's doing now that matters.forget philips or beattie,we can't afford to pay nacho novo ,how are we going to pay a player used to big wages in the english premiership?
Kevin Phillips is much better than Miller. He was scored 30 Premiership goals like 3 seasons ago.
I'd prefer to see Kevin Phillips at Rangers

I dont think rangers desperately need another striker, thompson or averladze should be given the chance to partner prso. If rickson goes, i think rangers should pull khizanishvilli up as a defensive midfielder (his preferred position).

Miller left in Mcleishs first year after being out on loan i think.
Id much prefer Phillips as hes a proven goalscorer and thats what we need.

Those goals were a once in a lifetime affair. I was listening to some comments made by McCoist about Prso and he think that he's overrated because of that flukey night. He's not a solution to the club's problems.

both players looked to have bags of potental when they were younger but havn't done much this season. Novo is a much better option.

I cant understand why Soton would sell one of their best players when its hard for a club like that to sign quality, but the Phillips rumour has been doing the rounds here for ages and wont go away.
If there is any truth in it then its simply a question of how much the fee is. Phillips is a great goalscorer but hes not 21 and Rangers cant afford big fees for players with zero sell-on potential.
As for Kenny Miller, why the feck did we sell him to begin with?

In the current financial situation, would you rather spend money on a player who we can buy who's 21-22, have for the long-term? Then spending money on a player who will only be around for 3 years at most.

Bobic did **** all this season for us. He managed to score like 3-4 goals total. Meyer benched him as soon as he took over.
