Maritimo is having a good season. They in the semi-finals of the portuguese cup. Belenenses 75 per cent of there points were on the road.
They a better road team. They coach by Marinho Peres.
Belenenses one of the few teams that won a portuguese championship in the mid 50's.
Portuguese soccer change in the last 10 years were Benfica, Sporting and Porto use to dominated everybody else.
The last five years its no surprise when the last place team's beat the top teams. Its one of the reasons the portuguese league was voted no.7 world wide in 2001 by FIFA, IFHS, rankings.
Portugal in 2000 was voted n. 17.
With 10 new stadiums been built for the European Cup in 2002 we expect to grow even more.
The ranking by FIFA in 2001 were as follow
1. Spain
2. England
3. Italy
4. Germany
5. Argentina
6. Brasil
7. Portugal
Portugal to be ahead of France, Holland, Scotland etc its a achievement.
Portugal not far from 5th place on points.

Going to your question Maritimo did win 1-0 in Madeira. And lost the return match 2-0'
Boavista did tie Liverpool in England
Boavista also tie 0-0 in Portugal
