Nottingham Forest are to release Andy Gray, Kevin Dawson, Gareth Edds, Niall Hudson and Damian Lynch this summer.
Their current contracts, which are due to expire on June 30, will not be renewed by the club.
Andy Gray, the son of former Forest European Cup winner Frank, moved to The City Ground from Leeds four years ago in a £200,000 switch.
However, the 24 year old right winger struggled to really establish himself on the first team scene and made only 41 starts for The Reds.
Central defender Kevin Dawson, Gareth Edds, a versatile Australian, and right back Niall Hudson are products of the club’s youth system.
Dawson and Edds made nine and 12 starts respectively, while Hudson failed to make his mark on the first team scene.
Lynch, who joined Forest last year after being released by Leeds, also failed to clinch the opportunity to make an impression at first team level.
