Dortmund has 1 point advantage over Leverkusen with one round to go!!! Everything can happen, but couple of weeks back it looked like Leverkusen would take the Bundesliga championship.
Wonderful!!!
Wouldnīt it be perfect if Arse won Premier, Dormund Bundesliga and Valencia La Liga!!!! (Real Madrid should be kept away from the trophies, a fantastic side they are)

This should be in European leagues really.
Borussia Dortmund managing director Michael Meier insisted he always believed his side would win the title despite making up a five-point deficit over Leverkusen in the last four weeks. "We stayed calm and were able to respond," he said.
Dortmund sealed their sixth Bundesliga crown after substitute Ewerthon, on for only 60 seconds, fired them to a well-deserved 2-1 win over Bremen.
"We always kept our nerve throughout the season," Meier said. "Many had written us off, but we always believed in ourselves. This young team has matured during the campaign and even today when we fell behind, we stayed calm."
Sports director Michael Zorc, who was Dortmund captain when they won their last Bundesliga title in 1996, was delighted that Dortmund struck as title challengers Leverkusen beat Hertha Berlin and Bayern Munich beat Hansa Rostock.
"It was so tight. We knew that Leverkusen and Bayern were in front from the time that we fell behind. However, I never lost faith as we had so many chances: we hit the post, were denied by the crossbar and it was only a matter of time until we's score and so it proved."
Marcio Amoroso was keen to complete his 'treble' by beating Feyenoord to win the Uefa Cup in midweek. The freshly-crowned Bundesliga champion and Golden Boot winner said: "I am very happy. To win the championship with Dortmund and the Golden Boot in my first year is fantastic, but our season is not over yet and we still have to win the Uefa Cup."
Amoroso, who had already won the Golden Boot in Brazil in 1994 and was top scorer in Serie A three years ago, finished the season with 18 goals, level with 1860 Munich's Martin Max.

hmmm...i think it is rob.
what a tragedy as dortmund win. but credit to them...but i guarantee they wont win it next season..unfortunately nor will the might of gelsenkirchen. With the signing of michael ballack from kusen this summer...bayern munich are, tragically, going to return to the place they know so well...top of the bundesliga... i wouldnt be surpirsed if they win next year by a big margin either...

no tragedy, quality wins :)
you know, Munich buys the most expensive players EVERY YEAR.. mostly they win the Bundesliga, but itīs never a certainty.
Und alle tanzen in Westfalen Stadium! :)

:) :laugh
Bayer Munich and Dortmund will be on top. Leverkusen is going down (Ballack), Schalke stays where it is..
Dortmund has many promising young players (German internationals), but some quality veterans too. Bayer M buys itīs luck each summer.. weīll see.

Funny how a five year old thread can come back to haunt people like this...;)
The question is, do we really need this on the forums or is it just a nuisance?
