Rangers defender Craig Moore is refusing to pledge his future to the club until he knows of their ambitions next season.
The Gers are lagging behind Old Firm rivals Celtic in The SPL and are almost certain to finish the season without any silverware just 12 months after winning the treble.

Moore, whose current deal expires next summer, revealed he has stalled on contract talks because he wants to wait and find out how the club plan to improve with new signings.

"I have to wait and see what happens here next season, because we know we are going to lose players," said Moore.

"We still have plenty of time left to sit down and talk, if that's what's going to happen. But I am happy here.

"I spoke to the club six months ago and I wasn't fit at the time and I said it didn't feel right talking about contracts."

Gers boss Alex McLeish will be keen not to lose the Australian ace as he plans to partner him with new signing Jean-Alain Boumsong next season in defence.
============================

I don't blame him... I am curious to see what this team has in mind for the future as well.

As much as I love Craig Moore and like his commitment to our cause. He has to remember what happened last time he walked out on Rangers.

Personally I don't think he deserves a new deal, judging by the performances, he has given this season.

If you read the article you'll see it is him who is dragging his heals about staying, not us about keeping him! :ph34r:

He went to Palace under Venables, and when the money ran out (they ended up in administration), we rescued him and brought him back home.
