Also to strenghen this claim Kanu is on his way to Spain to a un-named club who have been monitoring the situation!! What u lot think????

Overmars is a wa**!!! He´s often injured and bithces all the time.. We got better players in his position (Ljungberg/Pires). Rather sign someone younger, with passion and ambition.

AND DON´T BRING THAT DE BOER HERE EITHER. He´s a locker room cancer and will bring any team into shatters. I don´t want him. And he´s not that good of a player either.

And they are both too expensive. No mam!

It siad the price for Overmars would be in the region of 15/18million, as he was bought by Barca for over 20 mil and is there most expensive ever player!! I think they could buy better for that amount!!!

Arse needs, in this particular order:
1) central defender to parner Sol (Keown can do it a year, but after that?)
2) somebody to get Wiltord off midfield
3) somebody to replace Lauren
4) somebody to replace Wiltord and Kanu upfront (Dennis can do it for a while)
5) back up left back

Consolation:
1) Edu - has shown he can partner Vieira in the middle (instead of Ray/Grimandi)
2) Stepanovs is a decent defender
3) Lauren showing he can play a little bit
4) Dennis

I always like what i see when i see Kanu, i think he is a good player to bring into a game or is a good fill in player if Henry Wiltord are out!! He is the kind of player who can have a awful game but in a split second can create a chance, as when he first signed for Arsenal and they played at Old Trafford he created one chance and Arsenal scored!!

overmars is overrated rubbish.
kanu is on his bike i persume, and jere is quite right about bying some defenders. cole isnt a great defender, campbell prone to mistakes. dixon old, stepahnous is crap. i wont go on.

I agree the defence is a bit dodgy but still one of the best in the Premier!!!I wouldnt rule Arsenal out of bidding for someone like Stam or someone!!!

jimlad still underestimates Sol - all he is, is the best UK born defender at the moment. England hopes rest on him. He was injured early in the season and lacking form. Now he is the best.

I agree Jere, people get on at Sol but look, he is playing in a team that is going to win the premier, also in the semis of the f.a cup and the team has one of the best defensive records in the country!! Through all this Sol has been the most consistent player, he has played the most games for Arsenal in defence and is now peaking!! We will definatly need him in the world cup!!!

Sol was quite patetic in September/October.. but as WC nears he has gotten into an increble form with Seaman. They build the spine of England defence.

Seaman forms ever since the Penalty save at Villa was unreal he is playing very very well, and I have always been a Sol fan he is just quality!!

increble, but I was a SOL fan even when he played at White Hart Lane :eek :eek and I was euforic when in the summer when I heard he signed with us (I was certaing he´d be playing with De Boer now..).

To me Sol is the saviour. He makes our defence with Seaman and Vieira.
Sven must rely on him if England is to win anything.

Iv always been a Sol fan too Jere, back in my glory days obviously iv always been a Barnsley fan cos that is where i am from, but when Spurs play up here e.g Leeds, Sheff Wed and even Sheff U i used to go and watch spurs and Sol always used to catch my eye i can remember seeing him when he was like 19 and he was still has solid as houses then!! He is a must and a very important player to both Arsenal and England!!
People who get on his back all you have to say is look at Arsenals defensive record and he has been at the centre of it all season!!!

Definatly Hypia and Sol are the best at the mo, although give Rio a few yearshe looks stronger and stronger all the time, Leeds are nothing without him!!! But Henchoz is the player he is cos of Hypia althought i think he makes alot of mistakes!!

A Spanish friend of mine shares an apartment with "Steve" from England.
Story 1:
Steve was teaching english or something at the local high school. At the end of semester Steve told the class he would be heading back to England after the semester. A sweet student of his (a 16-17 year old girl) came to give him "fairwell visit" that evening.

Story 2:
Steve had 3 of his mates back from England visiting him in Helsinki. They went out on a tour to the bars and found 2 girls whom they brought home with them. My spanish friend tries to get some sleep as he hears noises:
- somebody is in the shower, but there are some extra noises from the showed too :eek
- there´s some activity in Steve´s bedroom as well. Some earth quake activity!
- it´s very hard to sleep when on the left side is the shower room and the right side bedroom. Also there is no certainty how the 4 men and 2 women were diveded: 2 in the shower, 4 in the bedroom? Who knows.
- in the morning the spaniard finds a durex-box outside his door.. maybe the women wanted one more extra man to join the party!!?? :eek :)
