I remember he rejected a new deal a while back, was this resolved?

Well he didn't sign the extension Bayern wanted him too but he is still in contract until 2005 I think.

I still dont see whats so big bout him, he's a very average player.. I would not call him talented. He's as good as any German boy gets with proper training.

And if he leaves what'll happen? Bayern will replace him with a foreign player. 1 less German at Germany's Premier Club. :rolleyes:

Bastian is still 18 and has alot to learn. the guy is fast and can provide a killer pass any time and he works hard on the field. i really want him to sign an extension, for all i know he could be the next Stefen Effenberg.

i dont think he is that average,he is only 18!
