For me the best player in the Bundesliga.

I would say he is verging on world class and he will be in Germany's midfield next June.

In 14 games he has been in Kicker's team of the week 8 times :clap

He has been outstanding for a good two years now.

24 and yes a defensive midfielder who is fast becoming an all rounder.
He also holds the most appearances for Germany under 21 and is currently the captain of Team 2006.He was in the full squad for the French game.Only a matter of time.

cool Germany needs a good young defensive midfielder to take over from Hamann and Jeremies (who isnt so good). Ernst should star in WC06.

Really come to think of it Germany's team in WC would be pure class. Think of it, players like Hinkel, Kuranyi, Ernst, Metzelder, Ballack, Deisler.. all would be in their peak... They gotta be favorites, I hope they can handle all that pressure thou.

If Voller stays till WC06 Germany are in deep trouble. Hitzfeld must take charge before the WC.

no matter how good Ernst plays,he'll only get in the squad if theres injuries, do u know how many defensive midfielders we have, hamman, jeremies, ramelow, baumman, if these players are fit, sebastian kehl wont make the squad, Remember Torsten Frings ,if it want for injuries Voeller wouldnt have taken him and he was in the form of his life and he even stated it,he challenged ballack even .

that's true voeller just cares about names, i think if he would have a hamman 50% fit and a ernst 100% fit je'd chose hamman............i think it would be a matter on who's is the best form........

damn Germany has alot of defensive midfielders, I wish they had that many attackers!
Its difficult to choose the best German defensive midfielder, but I think Jeremies and Hamann should be ruled out of the equation, their time is over.

I have naked pics lol

Germany always goes with experience players.Always did.
As the great Liverpool manager Bob Paisley said "experience is everything".

Ernst could have had his confidence shattered if he played against France with the French in that form.
I think he will be there though.Him and Hamann in midfield.

are u jokin me swissknife , rulin out jeremies and hamman!!

jeremies is a true fighter , hamman is the organizer of the play for us, he allows ballack to go forward and frees him from defensive duties ,the same way he does at liverpool for gerard, he just came back and liverpool won 2 games, all his teammates owen and gereard and houllier said how much Liverpool missed him, he's the number one defensive midfielder for Germany

I like Jeremies. His performance against Madrid in the Champions League semi in 2001 was heroic.
Jeremeis was out for 5/6 months before with a serious injury. He comes back and after playing a few great games he gets injured again.
Bayern Munich against Real Madrid in the second leg of the European Champions League.
Effenberg is supended so Bayern cannot do without Jeremies too.He gets painkilling injections and struggling to walk properly he plays. Not only does he play for 60 minutes but he scores and leads his team to a famous win.One of the most heroic performances I have ever seen which resulted in him missing another 6 months.
I don't think he has been the same player since then.
In 2001 he was world class. He was not even a first choice in the WM 2002 and I think the ratings for him in the Celtic game last week by a UK newspaper on the Bayern forum said it all .

i think hamman and jeremies are good players , but the problem is tehy are out of form, hamman should be in form for euro 2004, but i don't know if jeremies will be the same again.........
