Not for the first time this season, Leeds untied's fans showed themselves up during the england game. They booed james (slightly understandable) and beckham. They go to away games and just chant about the oppositions town/city, never about the football. Whats going on......

yeh marks right theres a few fans who ruin it for everyone, although admittedly Leeds fans are worse then most

Why were the fans who booed James Leeds fans?
I was at the game Crazyboy, were you? The vast majority of fans in the crowd were not Leeds fans, tickets went on sale to everyone, no tickets were allocated to any Leeds fans.
But you assuming they were Leeds fans just let's you have another post to abuse Leeds fans, it's all becoming very boring. :sleep

i presumed that he was beeing booed for replacing Martin. Thats what sky said. Therefore, wouldnt that just be the Leeds fans doing that. I agree he's crap but he is playing for england. There's a lesson for you, dont just jump in and start crying. Its becoming very boring. However we havent heard much from you since 4-0 have we. It seems to me that everybody is in agreement.

It is a disgrace and we all wonder why England fans get treated the way we do when any club or the England fans travel abroad!!! And in that case it is also the innocent that get punished for it!! With arrogant foreign poice and riot squads!!

I woud'nt even say der fans... they just want to get them selves in trouble all time thats there buzz..... They dont even like football thats what i think.

So let me get this right, someone who wasn't even at the game at Elland Road assumes that the only people who booed during the game were Leeds fans.
So because these Leeds fans booed England fans get treated the way they do when any club or the England fans travel abroad!!!
I would like to apologise to fans of every other club, I didn't realise we were the only club in the world who boo players. No wonder everyone hates us. :cry

I was at England v Spain at Villa Park - no abuse at all anywhere!

If you sad scousers can't get enough excitement watching your flamboyant Brazilianesque show boaters, why pick on the Leeds fans. What was the crime again? Booing at a player? Jesus Christ we are going back to the bad old days of the seventies again. Lock up your children the Leeds Boo-Boys are back in town.

I go to Elland Road and watch my team, I go there and do not remain seated all the time. I shout and scream and sing songs and.........I boo players. I thought this was the normal behavior of a football fan.
If you don't want to see players booed, go to the opera. :)

No, its not just the booing, thats expected although it was suprising to hear an england player being booed at a home international by english fans. Its the way you conduct yourselves when you go away. You dont sing about football, you just sing about the city or town that your playing against. Most supporters on this site would probably agree with that.

Most songs that Leeds fans do sing away are about football, I know because I go to some of these games. Yes there are some songs that abuse the city or certain players, but these are only at certain grounds and at certain teamd. Liverpool being one.
When teams come to Elland Road, they all abuse Leeds, so everyone does it. The whole of the last 18 months every set of fans playing Leeds have abused Lee Bowyer and Jonothan Woodgate, so that is just the same, every set of fans, especially away fans, because they are more vocal, dish out abuse.
Why do you assume Leeds are any different to anyone else.
