David Beckham last night prepared for Manchester United's make-or-break Easter programme by hitting back at suggestions that he is a better player when wearing an England shirt. Beckham and his United team-mates face Leeds at Elland Road at noon today, then travel to Spain for Tuesday night's Champions League quarter-final, first leg against Deportivo La Coruna.

He plays better cos he is given a more responsible role!! Why do more more at United than what is needed!!!!

Beckham was the master class at the Riazor stadium against Deportivo..the referee was absolutely rubbish and was totally biased against Man Utd..
Becks is now injured and so is Keane but all Deportivo got was a yellow card for Tristan..Tristan can get lost..he just keeps diving and making bad tackles..

Lets hope the injury is not serious. With players injury like Pires, Figo and Becham injury, he real hurt the sport.

And i am not a Roy Keane fan but i wish he would do that greasy bas***d Tristan he never went for the ball last night and it was e definate red!! Come on Man U!!

The Beckam foul was nothing more than a yellow card so that bloke got what he deserved for that challange. Seems there is nothing wrong with Beckam anyway and he will be playing next week. Mr Becks isn't used to getting kicked so wasn't used to the pain unlike Keane who took it like a man.

Tackle from behind red card tackle from side like this was is only a yellow. It's the rules simple as that. It looked nasty because the ball wasn't near him but Man U fans may remember the same sort of tackle a few months ago by Beckam on an Arsenal player I think it was (I think Keane was sent off in the match could be wrong) but Beckam wasn't booked.
I don't hate Man U I respect Man U for what they have done as they have done very well.
Beckam made me laugh though for not getting up and crying as he was stretcherd off the field only to find out today that he has a bruised ankle :)
