No contest - I like England, but I LOVE Everton.
Mind you, I'll be taking the obligatory 'sickie' off work in May/June to cheer on England and Ireland !!! :laugh :laugh :laugh

Nice one. We like England, but we LOVE what's really dear to us. That's just the way it is.

Although I love Manchester United, I feel very patriotic for my country, so it's got to be England :)

No divided loyalties here -- Canada will be 50 years or more before it fields a decent international team.

Arsenal, obviously.
I devote a lot of time, money, effort and emotion following the Gunners.
I might think differently if we win nothing and England win the World Cup, yeah right.

i do love england but get worried when players play for the national side. much prefer england to win world cup than liverpool win anything though.

Strange how it's only Man U 'supporters' who go for country rather than club - in my opinion club is like family, but the national side is something you put on a special hat for, on occasion - whilst we all want England to win, you live & die for your club - it's tribal.
(a repeat of 1966 would be nice, just the same)

Totally argee, I will support England as much as the next person, but your club is the main thing, it's the team you watch week in week out, the one you really love.

Perhaps we are just more loyal to our clubs, and love them more.

Boovy's choice doesn't suprise me, I think fans who go to the ground and watch their team live feel more for their club than fans who just watch on tv.
It makes you feel part of the team.

No i think it's because your so used to success with your club. You need a good few years down near the bottom to really understand a club.
