Travelled down to the JJB Stadium to watch the mighty whites beat Wigan 2-1 (to keep our promotion dreams slightly alive) and I would just like to say how impressed I was with their stadium.
Its very nice. No disrespect to Wigan, but that ground is wasted on them. Arrived by car and there is a large car park for away supporters right next to the ground. Parking was free (unlike Bolton which costs £3 for example)..
The pies were very nice, and they even sold beer!! There were loads of toilets to use and they were clean too!
The stewards were friendly and I could not fault the place. Only one disappointing aspect. The attendance. 7000+ looks shite in that stadium. If it was full, it would be great... Kudos to Wigan for their ground. I'll admit, I was jealous.. :)
Hey, maybe I should start writing my own football grounds guide... :wink

Bloody Wigan!
I've wanted to go to their ground for ages but year after year they mess up... abit like Stoke. :laugh
The best grounds i've been to are Preston's and Huddersfield. (I went to Old Trafford for the England Vs Greece game but this is Div 1 forum)
The worst have to be Everton(Wank of a ground), Man City and Bradford(Wasted! 30,000 seater and they can only get 12,000 fans to go) and their away end is a pile of crap and they beat us. :cry

Yeah, thats the way its going mate! I noticed there was a lot of advertising at that ground. I think their home end must have been sponsored by at least 10 different companies.
Our home end is sponsored by Asda, making it the afformidable 'Asda Kop End'...Its all very sad.. :X

The idea came from the States where most of the football and baseball stadia have been renamed or new ones named after sponsors which is ok until the sponsoring company goes belly up.
