12th in a row????? Aren`t there any other teams which could threten Rosenborg? Molde?
In fact they are almost every season Champions League participants despite the fact that they have to play qualifying games.

No... Rosenborg got so much money that no other Norwegian team have any chance in the league....last season they got a £6m profit from Champions League, and they did participate in the Champions League group stages 8 years in a row...this season is the first time they didnt qualify....I would say they are up £20m...at the moment...and got a small plus on this years budget....while the rest of the league-clubs are fighting with debts.....just like the Swedish clubs...

Sypniewski in Halmstad - he found his home after long-term depression. Sad that he doesn`t want to play for Poland anymore.
Good for Rosenborg they maaged to get so much money.
Lyn - doing well in the Uefa cup and so low in the league? And the second force - Molde - what happened?
And finally =- where is Tommy Svindal Larsen?

I dont agree with u that its mainly because of the money, Rosenborg are winning the league. When they started their impressing 12 title-in-a-row campaign, they were in debts and had a real bad stadium.
When they started to win and get to CL, wich was done mainly because of manager: Nils Arne Eggen, they used most of the money to build a new stadium wich costed appr. 40M£. This money were not taken from loans or by selling half of the stadium to commercial interests.
Allthough they've bought many of their players, these players were originally Rosenborg-players and when u look at the team now u'll see that most of the are from Trondheim.
This season we've bought 2 players: Jan Gunnar Solli and Torjus Hansen, and both of them are only used as reserves. Also, thru the history we've lost ALOT of players to other european clubs like: Iversen, Leonardshen, Carew, Heggem, Bjørn-Otto Bragstad, Bjørn-Tore Kvarme, Andre Bergdølmo, Jan-Derek Sørensen, Janne Saarinen(this season), MacBeth Sibaya(this season), El-Fakiri, Belsvik Sigurd Rushfeldt and ALOT more to other unkown clubs. Also many of the players that are playing for the team today, was bought back in the last season(s).
In the last 15 years, 47 players have left Rosenborg for another club in another country(!!!).

Abit stats for Rosenborg this season:
Matches played(including friendlies): 53
Matches lost: 2 (1-2 for Tromsø and 0-1 for Deportivo  )
Goals scored: 170
Goals conceded: 37(19 in the league)
Biggest win: 17 - 0 against Buvik(2nd division side) in the cup
Biggest loss: 1 - 2, Tromsø/ 0 - 1 Deportivo(this seasons poorest performance IMO)
To summer it up:RBK= :king

Velkommen til... duttend... we allways welcome more Scandinavians to the "European Football" forum....
Det vil være godt med lidt Norsk indput her...du skal også være velkommen til at deltage i pyrtas "European Prediction League" om du vil ?...isnt that right Pyrtas ??
I know that all the Norwegian clubs was poor 12 years ago...and that Rosenborg have used a lot of their CL cash on building a new stadium....now however, Rosenborg are ( like FC København and Brøndby in Denmark) so wealthy that it is next to impossible for any Norwegian club to compeat in the league...

thank you! I'm going to predict a few games there maybe..
And BTW, there are plans to have a Nordic Superleague in the winter break with the 2(3 or 4) best clubs from each country(Norway, Sweden, Denmark a couple from Finland and Iceland). The 2 best teams are going directly to CL and some others to the UEFA cup.
That'd be really good, coz its more fun with another Nordic team to compete with in the CL. ;)

Yep...your right about the Nordic League...and I think it is safe for me to reveal that it is allmost a done deal ... The "Royal League" as it will be called...is to start in november next year...the two TV stations who, at the moment, are "fighting" to get rights...have both demanded that it starts early november, so they can present the "fresh" champions of the Swedish and Norwegian League (who ends in oktober)...the only problem left is to get the Norwegians (especially Rosenborg) to accept the deal...Rosenborg have asked that the winner of the "Royal League" gets a spot in the Europa Cup.... hovever, this is for different resons, not possible at the moment...but all this will be cleared up on thursday I hope....

Is it done? The Nordic League? Wouldn`t it be too much games to be played by players? But - with reasonable marketing and inconcideration to players health it may turn out to be a good project.
