Bit of a shock, theyve been on a poor run of form but he is a good manager.

the circus is back in town. Mother fvckers. It looks like Mark Hughes is gonna replace him. I'd rather him than Bruce.
Thanks for everything Mr. Warnock. You are a QPR legend.
Very sad :(

Oh dear.
The QPR owner showing his true colours? Celebrity manager on the way, I'd say.

Fernandes caused uncertainty with his tweet earlier in the week.
It's been coming and they've used WBA and Newcastle example from last season. If youre unsure on the manager, get rid.
Hughes in.

Good decision tbh, I don't rate him.

Mark Hughes it is apparently.
I love Warnock for what he did but this is football & we have to stay up so if this helps then so be it.

I don't really understand this, QPR have some good names and eye catching players yet they have been rather average on a good day. I don't exclusively blame Warnock, but suffice to say he has never really done anything big at the top level, he is a great lower league gaffer, not a premier league starliner.

Hughes will know where to spend his money better than Warnock.
It's a smart move IMO.

Do you know what the funniest part of Neil Warnock being sacked is? Steve Kean still has a job.
Mark Hughes? Before Warnock has been sacked?! Delicious. Fvcking delicious!

There's nothing funny about this at all. It's the saddest day I can remember for QPR for a long time.

Results weren't really there though?
I think Hughes is a better manager than Warnock so might work out. Warnock probably deserved a january window to strengthen.

I thought this might be coming, the R's have been in terrible form...
Still, he was loved by the fans, so it's a big decision for fernandes to make...

Ultimately for Fernandes, you compare QPRs progress to that of the other two promoted clubs and warning signs were there.
They were ultimately the better team in comparison to them last season and considering they've spent more money, they're languishing badly behind.

My FB is just a wave of hoops fans uttering their disbelief and discontent...
Like I said, brave (or maybe stupid) move by Fernandes
I think they should have given Colin the whole season, and if we went down, so be it, he'd just take us back up the next season anyway

Given all the changes in personnel, and the level of player possible, it seems premature. But ... thats football for you ...
Warnock did a sterling job in his short time - a bit sad in that respect.

you would think with QPR's reputation for sacking managers they would have stuck with someone who finally got them results and then promoted.........unbelievable!!
loved warnock at palace,he worked wonders with limited resourses,i really feel for the bloke!!
Have to say I was shocked, didn't see it coming at all.
The more I think about it though, the more I agree with this:
he has never really done anything big at the top level, he is a great lower league gaffer, not a premier league starliner.

stupid decision. Guy took them up a division to the epl. Should at least give him a chance to turn things around this year

They were on a terrible run, have been sliding down the table and Warnock has seemed quite aloof about the whole thing in recent weeks. QPR are gonna have to fight for survival, Blackburn, Wigan, Wolves, Bolton and others have rolled up their sleeves, its going to get messy.
Obviously a gamble tho.
Warnock speaks sense, was very dignified in his reaction and I think highly of him especially after he spoke up for Suarez.

Seems a stupid decision, but im sure they have a high profile name in mind the replace him, its too much of a risk to let him go without someone in mind,
Colins sacking made my day yesterday... I can actually enjoy a QPR goal without feeling a little dirty now too.
Sadly, I'm sure it won't be long until he's scrapping it up with another Championship job.

The fans seemed to have wanted him gone, so Tony Fernandes appeased them.
Such a shame, even if it is Warnock.
Stanley

the fans most certainly did not want him gone!! But we understand why he was fired, even if we dont all agree with it.
This seems to have been the friendliest football sacking in the history of the game. Infact there's been such an out pouring of emotion over this that the club are setting up a special e mail address where supporters can thank Warnock for everything he did for us. Even Warnock had his thoughts on it all posted on our website today.
Still, this is football so the king is dead, long live the king.
WE R QPR
He's come out bitching about it. Understandably in fairness.
A bit harsh overall, but Hughes will probably keep them up.
I'm also glad he's shot of in the sense that we will stop seeing him criticise and lambaste officials over any decision. His attitude towards referees and assistants has and always will be disgraceful.
