i'd like to know your opinion about what's the best national team ever:

1954: WC champions

1972:EC champions

1974:WC champions

1980:EC champions

1990:WC champions

1996:EC champions

well the team that won the EC 72 and WC 74 was amazing

but the 1990 WC winning team was also great and i actually got to see them in action.. only seen 1 match of the 74 team



so by personal experience i would say the 1990 WC team...

but most germans will say the 1974 WC team

The most important was the team with Fritz Walter, Helmut Rahn from WC 1954.

My favorites are the teams from 1990 and 1996

The 1990 team was increadible and did not get enough praise beacuse it only scored 1 goal in the final 3 games-but what a team.
And to think Reuter and Moeller,Thon,Riedle etc could not get a game.

The 1996 team could have been the greatest team ever if Kohler, Basler and Klinsmann were fit, Moller played in the final and Effenberg and Matthaeus were on speaking terms with Vogts.
