German football wasn't the best in the last years. There are many reasons for the decrease in winning matches, and championships. The main reason is because Germany doesn't have young talents.
The Bundesliga doesn't provide high class young players and, that is because of all the players from outside of Germany.Germany is the country that produced great players that everyone remembers.
Now there isn't one first class german player that plays outside of Germany.
That is bad.We had players in Italy, high class players like Hassler and Brehme.
The german teams depend on players from outside of Germany, mostly Brazilians :salute :salute  .That is not good.
I have a question. There is a team in every country that focuses in the youth teams, like atlanta in Italy.Whar german team focuses on the youth players in germany??

well in germany alot more teams are starting to look toward youth due to finances.
but Stuttgart has been a big forerunner for youth players (and it paid off)
but there are teams with a good reputation for youth production. Frankfurt has always had a great youth academy even though they have sold off most of it to stop bankruptcy ( sold Streit, Jones,Beirofka, Mutzel, gemiti and Maljkovic all the last 2 years). also dortmund have been known to always attempt to give youth a chance before buying elsewhere.
Bayern has a great youth system but very few players crack into the squad, but most do find teams elsewhere in 1-2 division in germany, but compared to most english teams has a pretty good percentage of youth make it.
Monchengladbach has a great reputation for using youth players and had they not sold alot of good ones 5-6 years ago they would have had an impressive squad (diesler the most notable, but my friend had a list of the young stars they sold last 5-7 years and it was damned impressive.. could have been a top 6 team)
there may be others but these are the clubs i know of

Something like 50% of players in the German League are foreign and thats obviously a problem.
Its not allowing young German players the chance to break into the 1st teams and develop their talents :nono

Doesn't the german league post restrictions to foreigners like the non-EU rule in spain or the work permit in england?

This is a problem throughout whole Europe, isn't it? At least in the stronger leagues. The funny thing is that this helps the Brazilians to get more experience, increase their level and then European teams suffer them in the WC.

There are some teams with young german Players (Freiburg, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Mainz). But many players moving to bigger teams were they earn more money but play only in the 2nd team.
A good example is Michael Zepek, who was the biggest german talent in 2001. All think we would play at WC 2006. After season 2000/2001 he moved from his club Karlsruher SC to Leverkusen, a bad reason, because in Leverkusen he made only 19 games in the 2nd team. Last season he was loaned from Leverkusen to 2. Bundesliga-Team LR Ahlen were he was a sub. Now he is back in Karlsruhe but until now he didn't play any second...

Zepek played for Leverkusen in a winter break game in Turkey I think in 2002 and he played poorly.
I do not think he has the self belief to be a great player. He is injured at the moment like he was alot at Leverkusen.
Another great player from the same team is Christian Micholaczak.
He went from 13 appearances for Schalke to Hannover and now to Ahlen.
he is a good player and deserves more games. So too does Tobias Willi at Freiburg.

Also auer from Mainz...
I would say Leverkusen, even if they buy players from 2nd leaguers, many of them manage to get in first xi... Balitsch, croat Babic, Bierofka etc...
