Well last night I watched the Rangers play as bad as Ive ever seen them, in fact it was one of the worst team performances in a long long time :nono

Things had started so well with Rangers pressing the Danes for 10 mins and making the break-through on 12 mins, Lovenkrands scoring from the 6 yard box following a corner. Then it all went pear-shaped....

Rangers failed to press the advantage and Copenhagen came back into the gaem, eventually taking control and bossing Rangers for about 60 mins. They scored the important away goal but it couldhave been 3 or 4 to be honest, so in that respect Rangers got lucky - the tie isnt totally dead yet.

Copenhagen certainly seemed much fitter than Rangers (Danish season has been going for a while by now) and their retained control without much effort, Rangers on the other hand huffed & puffed heavily to no great effect.

Most worrying was the total lack of interest by Ronald De Boer who just stood around not looking to get involved (he was subbed 2nd half) and other players like Mols, Lovenkrands & Ferguson not making the effort to chase loose balls or close down opposition players.

Rangers will need nothing short of a football miracle if they are to turn this around and the rest of the season isnt looking much more promising on this display

I read on the back page of The Sun "Big Eck hits the roof", I think I rather he hit the players....

The problem being Rangers didnt create a single goalscoring chance last night. There was a couple of long-shots and the goal from the corner but they couldnt create anything themselves....

They have to score over there but I cant see where the goals are coming from.

Dick Advocaat has a lot to answer for, putting us in this debt so we cant sign anyone

De Boer was truly shocking, he offered nothing and looked disinterested

Felt for Mols who was given no support from De Boer or any kind of service from the midfield and was made to run the line on his own. Lovenkrands, despite scoring, was shocking at times, his 1st touch really lets him down

Mo Ross is not Rangers class at this stage of his career but other than him the other defenders looked good. Klos was solid as always and had no chance with the FCK goal

Ricksen, Ferguson and Arteta struggled in Midfield and ultimately we struggled as a team

Fingers crossed for the second leg, it aint over yet :clap Getting me ticket for Copenhagen sorted just now :)
