Saturday 5th December 2009
3pm KickOff
Wolves will be looking to bounce back from their derby day defeat to Birmingham with a win over Bolton at home on Saturday. Wolves who face a tough christmas running will be hoping to pick up maximum points which could see them move to within a point of getting out of the bottom 3.

This is the one. If we don't win, it's one foot in the grave.
Realistically, MM should put out a team like this...
-----------------Hahnemann-----------------
Stearman------Craddock-----Berra------Ward
Halford/Edwards--Castillo-----Henry-----Jarvis
---------Maierhofer------------Doyle---------
Think it's about time SEB is dropped.
-----------------Hahnemann-----------------
Stearman------Craddock-----Berra------Ward
Halford/Edwards--Castillo-----Henry-----Jarvis
---------Maierhofer------------Doyle---------
I agree with the team looking like this. If, at half time Maierhofer / Doyle isn't working, get Keogh on.

Will you and the Bobster be there?
WOOF!

Get SEB on the bench, he was fvcking shocking sunday. He aint got what it takes in this division.
Give the Hoff a run out, especially if Wolves are just gonna hoof it forward again.
1-1 (at best)

Wolves will be without winger Michael Kightly, who faces surgery on his ankle and could be sidelined for eight weeks.
Greg Halford and Stefan Maierhofer are expected to recover from minor knocks sustained in training, while David Jones (knee) may be considered.
Bolton are without captain Kevin Davies who is serving a ban after his fifth booking of the season last week.
Danny Shittu and Mustapha Riga (both hamstring) may return, Sean Davis and Joey O'Brien (both knee) are ruled out.
Wolves
Suspended: None
Doubtful: Jones (knee)
Injured: Iwelumo (metatarsal), Kightly (ankle), Murray (knee), Zubar (thigh)
Bolton
Suspended: K Davies (one match)
Doubtful: Riga & Shittu (both hamstring)
Injured: S Davis & O'Brien (both knee)
Think we're all in agreement re- SEB. Let's hope McCarthy sees it..
I doubt Geesus will be there Grob, I might have his ticket though..

Wolves 1-0 Bolton
Christophe Berra flicks on a free-kick for Jody Craddock, who looks a touch offside as he lashes the finish into the roof of the net. Craddock's fourth goal in five games.
Not a bad return from a 34 year old central defender come artist :)
WOOF!

Wolves 2-0 Bolton
Daylight for Wolves - and in some style. Kevin Doyle wins the ball and lays it off to Nenad Milijas fires home a swerving shot from 30 yards

Wolves 2-1 Bolton
Corner headed back into the mixer and Johan Elmander scrambles it home to set up a nervous finish for the home fans at Molineux.

Hooray!!!! out of the relegation zone now is it?
That'll do, a good days work. SEB didn't do anything again, McCarthy should realise now. Great strike by Milijaš so I hear :)
First weekend in a while I've got a smile on my face at 16:55 :D

We're still in there, a point behind West Ham.. good win though, Bolton fought back second half.

Today, we got the basics right and that's all we had to do as Bolton were bloody awful. We closed them down, got stuck in and moved forward. Milijas was sensational, sprayed the ball around, got into some good tackles, delivered some very good set-pieces and had a few pops at goal before scoring an absolute screamer! We've been crying out for years for someone to have a pop from 25-30 yards and he has a few.
Gotta give props to Hahnemann because collected the cross and quickly found Doyle in space which lead to a free-kick to us, which the first goal was scored from. Ward was fantastic, we look like we have a new left flank with him in, and he looks better with the ball. Stearman was ropey but thankfully, Bolton didn't attack that flank much.
Started to look shaky as soon as Elmander came on, Bolton looked like scoring, bringing on Maierhofer and Mancienne didn't help our cause but I'm glad we held on because a lot of results today were kind to us.
Gotta carry the standard of today's performance into WHL and Old Trafford and hope we don't get demoralised in time for Burnley.
Nes, I take as Geesus asked for his season ticket back then? :P

Make no mistake Bolton were shyte and then some ..
I'm not getting carried as there is still so much we need to become to even keep out of the bottom 3. Spurs, Utd, Liverpool and Man City 4 out of next 5 so i'm not exactly bolstered by this one. Nenad was the dogs conkers today but he's too good for us ....
Grobs - yes he did, the git. Would have enjoyed watching us win for a change ;)
Norwolf - I won't get carried away. We have to beat teams like that (& Brummagem which we didn't) to stay in this division. The prospect of the next couple of matches worries me..
