Lazio president Ugo Longo added more evidence that denies Parma midfielder Hidetoshi Nakata is on the verge of completing a move to the Biancocelesti.
"Nakata is an interesting player, but Mancini believes we don't need a player in that role. However Lazio remain active on the market," said Longo.
Longo also looked back upon the failed swap deal with Udinese.
"The deal is totally blocked, not totally closed to new openings," he said.

Nakata Hits Out At Press
Parma ace Hidetoshi Nakata, on his official website, has hit out at the press after he was linked with a number of moves away this summer.
"You shouldn't believe everything you read in the newspapers or see on TV," he said.
"Most of it is pure rumour. People spin the truth to start rumours all the time. The press should stick to reporting about the facts."
Lazio are the team currently being mentioned in the same breath as Nakata.

It's interesting how the press say "hits out" when the statement is quite calm and collected. Maybe it's just the translation. I'm just losing faith in journalists. They seem to make up too much, spend too much time reporting on things that aren't interesting and they seem to wage war against certain people who say things against them.

There's no way, Hide will join l*z*o!!!!!!!!!
He won the Scudetto with us! That would break my heart...
I remember a fantastic strike when when we drew 2-2 at the delle Alpi in 00/01!!
Great game.Rubentus were leading 2-0 after 10 Minutes and then Nakata from 30 meters in the crosscorener. No chance for Van der Saar.
And then in overtime the equalizer from Vincenzino"Aeroplanino"Montella...
Oh sweet memories :)
Nakata: Parma agrees but the player has doubts
Posted on - 5 August 2003 at 12:48 PM
Hide Nakata (26) has strong doubts about wearing the Lazio jersey. It’s because he’s a former romanista, say the clever tongues, but the fact is that both Parma and Lazio wait with anxiety for the player to get over his reservations about his return to Rome, this time on the biancoceleste side of the Tiber. Between the two clubs the deal is done: one year loan without any financial compensation. But the Japanese hesitates. Those near the player say that his doubts also derive from the fact that Mancini’s tactics are similar to those of Prandelli without room for a “trequartista”, Nakata’s prefered position. Moreover the Japanese is well in Parma: the city is of course much calmer then the capital.
That was from LazioWorld, looks like we probably won't get him.

Well i hope he won't go there.
I woudn't wanna be in his skin,if he runs into Olimpico wearing "bianco è celeste"!
Curva Sud would give him Hardcore!
On Rai Uno TV Text yesterday they wrote that Francisco"merda"Lima
(what a useless player) might be traded for Angelo Peruzzi.
Peruzzi played for us ages ago-God i hope that Lima goes to l*z*o.
We all think he's a l*z*iale in disguise anyway ;)

Do u support west ham more than l*z*o?
Or did di Canio get you into them?
I'm just curious.
Paolo is one of the MOST hated players(in our "curva" of course ;) )
When he scored in the derby he ran into Curva Sud and showed us his middle finger, like some other laziale in the 70`s(i think it was Chinaglia).
On the other hand there was a goalkeeper Astutiglio Maglioglio who switched from ROMA to l*z*o and after he made a mistake the curva nord where giving him sh*t.So he took of his shirt, spat on it and left the pitch.
He's one of our heroes :)!
just a little derby history...
In England i(unfortunatly) support Bradford City.
FORZA LUPI!

Wow you know your italian football giallorosso. That's good so we can have some good discussions around here ;)
Btw Juve-Roma in the 3rd day ;)
Unluckily, I do remember Nakata scoring against us...2 days after someone high in Italian football, changed the laws so that Roma could be able to field him against us :(

I remember.
He shouldn't have played and scored, the same happened to Cassano last season in the last derby of the league. His gameban was transformed into a money fine. And in 89th minute he headed the equalizer to the 1-1.Antonio jumped 20 centimeters higher than fernando couto. We were rolling on the floor :)
Totally drunk and happy...
I think around the 75th minute the referee denied l*z*o a goal by passive offsides,Corradi even was on his way to curva nord to celebrate.Gosh what a relief that was.
Haven't lost against them in 8 games but my fav game is of course the one on 10th march 2002.That unbelievable 1-5 when Montella scored 4 goals.Totti the last one! I don't even remember how i came home ;)
Yeah we are playing juve at the delle alpi on 21st of september.I`m looking forward to heated discussions with u guys.
In Oktober 2001 we beat juve 2-0 by goals from Batistuta and a great freekick from Assuncao.Batigol even got sent of in 90th minute.
Really sad was the game last season at Olimpico (2-2).A false referee decision that denied us a throw-in,although totti didn't even touch the ball on the left sideline resulted in a goal by nedved for the equalizer a few minutes before the end.But i don't wanna even talk about last season anymore-i try to erase it from my mind-like so many in the mid and laste 90's.For example in 1997 when we finished at an unbelievable 14th rank in the campionato :(
FORZA ROMA ALÈ!

You're quite knowledgable about Roma, that's cool. Who do you hate most? Lazio or Juve? And what do you think of the Lucio and Legro deals? Mad at Moggi? ;)

Yeah I do support West Ham more than Lazio, infact if West Ham played Lazio in a match, I would no doubt be supporting the claret and blue. Di Canio didn't influence my decision to support Lazio because I've been supporting Lazio when Di Canio was still at Upton park. But it would be great if played for Lazio again, but I would have preferred him finishing his career at West Ham. The main reason I started to support Lazio was because my brother supports Roma.
Obviously Di Canio would be hated by the Romanista, but anyone who wears the shy blue shirt is hated by them, the same goes for anyone who plays with the red shirt, they're hated by the Laziale.
