Crespo-Vieri Show In Inter's First Outing

Serie A giants Inter easily won their first pre-season friendly match as they defeated amateur side Marlene 9-0.

Vieri, Crespo, and Kallon bagged two goals a piece, while Adani, Martins, and Biava hit the net once.

At the end of the match Vieri expressed great hopes for the future in light of the arrival on the wings of two important players such as van der Meyde and Luciano.

"The goals scored today don't matter. What does instead matter is that we have players that know how to play the ball. Now I can finally receive good crosses with Van der Meyde on the left and Luciano on the right. Everything looks easier now," said Vieri.
