I think there will be a shock. 1-0 Forest.

We have a chance y'know, If we can stop Phillips, the rest of them have only scored 3 goals in 10 games. Oh and also, Djimi Traore makes hsi debut for the blues

2-1 Forest, Traore Own Goal.

Not a bad prediction.

I cant predict untill the teamsheets are out because we dont know if Tyson/Perch/Earnie might play or if Newbold is playing :ninja

Or Byrne :nod

Anyways can't see us winning this one. A point is the most we will get out of this game if we are lucky, unless they have a shocker.

Yeah i agree. As long as there is no Newbold,Byrne and Lynch we should be alright.

I agree with the other two but I spose maybe playing him away from home is a bit risky.

They have had a **** season and ended up third, But they always find a way out of it. Against Charlton, there marking and defensive approach wasn't of league 2 standard. But they are so lucky its unreal; we could get something... We will probably play well - but how its panned out this season, brum will get last minute goals,or an O.G from the halfway line.

However, promotion chasing teams usually get undone in February; if anyone deserves tog et undone, its Birmingham

sticking with 2-1 forest, why not?

Birmingham 2-0 Forest

Cant say i expected anything different tho tbh when i heard team news. Garner was sh1t against QPR and sh1t today. Sounds like Newbold did nothing when came on....and I bet BD comes on radio and talks about its fine because theyre all young again...

And the idiots get on the managers back already....

We lost away at third place. It was expected.

well what would you have them say?

forest008
Feb 14 2009, 04:09 PM
Apparently it was as shocking match of football accoriding to Charlie Nicholas.

Wasnt expected to do anything, but it sounded like we just made up the numbers as we were pathetic.

Garner has been useless since BD became manager and i can see him getting left out.

We really need to sign a player with a bit of Flair to create and score our chances when we create them.

Went to the game. I thought we did wll for 60 minutes. A scrappy goal costs us,a nd then a fluke. After then we had nothing on the bench and all was lost

Smith 6 - AGAIN didn't come for any crosses
Chambers 6 - Average, gave the ball away a lot
Heath 7 steady display, better than Lynch
Wilson 7 Not too bad, but where's Breckin's experience
Morgan 6 A bit unsteady today
Perch 9 Thought he had a great game, never gave the ball away
Mcgugan 7 Much better, some good passes and runs
Cohen 7 Started well, faded out
Moloney 6- Protected Chambers, but is a full back
Tyson 7 Was a threat but was wasteful
Garner 5 - Wasn't up for it
Newbold 3 Was dire, couldn't get a kick
McCleary 6 - Some runs, but no end product
Breckin - should be back in the side asap

Cheers Forest7, Interesting insight; At least Perch and McGugan had good games.

Yes, Perch put in one of his best games for the club. I have criticised him in the past, but he protected the back four well, looked good on the ball and never gave it away. He will always have his critics but he did well today. Lewis was better too after being annonymous for a few weeks. One great piece of skill and some nice passes. I didn't think we played too badly. We were threatening and then suddenly conceded a scrappy goal. We need Earnshaw back as Garner was poor, and Newbold is a mile off the pace away from home at this level - at the moment at least

Another game where we wasn't expected to win. Trouble is we have to win one of these in the next few weeks so the heat of the drop zone doesn't come back to affect us. If we fall back into it, I honestly can't see us coming back out of it regardless of our form last month.

Got some hard games ahead of us in coming weeks. Reading away, (which im delighted to say I'm going to), Preston at home, Swansea at home, Burnley, Wolves....ITF ur right we need to start winning some of these games against the good teams. Donny are also winning almost every game atm I cant see them going down or being anywhere near the bottom.
