Juventus striker Alessandro Del Piero is optimistic the Bianconeri can catch Inter Milan at the top of the Serie A standings.
The Zebre, who entertain Siena in Turin tomorrow, will be desperate to extend their current winning streak to five games as they look to reduce the six-point gap from their Milanese rivals.
"We know we have what it takes to catch up with Inter and have the weapons to fight right until the end,'' Bianconeri captain Del Piero told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
"One thing is sure; now is the time for us to put our foot on the accelerator and reduce the gap to the league leaders.
"The coach (Claudio Ranieri) has reminded us of the concepts we must always keep in mind. The first thing is that we must never give up.
"We must also maintain the air of a smaller club. We should respect our adversaries whilst paying attention to particular details. Every ball and tackle is important.''
The Bianconeri will be hoping for a routine afternoon tomorrow as they have never lost in Turin to Siena in Serie A, and have not lost the first game after the winter break since the 1979/1980 season.
Ranieri is still hampered by injuries with Jorge Andrade, Mauro Camoranesi, Vincenzo Iaquinta, Dario Knezevic, Hasan Salihamidzic, David Trezeguet and Jonathan Zebina all unavailable this weekend.
Meanwhile, Siena coach Marco Giampaolo is happy with the condition of his side ahead of this weekend's tough trip.
The relegation-battling Robur have the difficult task of avoiding a fourth consecutive defeat tomorrow and the Tuscans - currently five points clear of the drop zone, will not be overly confident having lost seven of their nine games on the road.
"The lads have worked well over the break. Now our legs are slightly heavy from the training but that is how things should be,'' Giampaolo told the official club website www.acsiena.it.
"In our preparations for this weekend's game we will concentrate on worrying about ourselves, as we have done until now.
"We will also take into account the characteristics of our opponents as the work we have been doing during the break has been mainly technical and physical.
"We decided not to look at tactics until closer to the game as I preferred to concentrate on getting the lads back into shape.''
Robur sporting director Manuel Gerolin has insisted they will not be travelling to Turin just to make up the numbers this weekend.
"We will look to play our game in Turin,'' he said.
"Siena always plays with an open mind, looking for a result, whether at home or away. We will continue with this attitude, even against Juventus.''
A blow for the Robur will be the absence of goalkeeper Gianluca Curci as the Italy international is suspended. Emanuele Manitta will take over between the posts.
Giampaolo will also have to make do without injured trio Nicola Belmonte, Luca Rossettini and Simone Vergassola.
Key defender Daniele Ficagna has almost regained full fitness having spent a lengthy spell on the sidelines and could make the bench.
