We might have problems with Danny and Arshavin who can take the ball and run at DMs and defenders. we alwyas had this problem since the Vieira-Emerson era. let's hope those 2 don't have a good game (if they play together, which I doubt)

One of the hardest games for us since the first one specially after a long spell is always hard, thank god for the 3 points but the boys got it back after we scored the first, i believe Zenit are gonna give Real a run for their money specially with Real style of play.

wow, DP's FK is fkin amazing. He did everything right. From that range it's hard to use the inside of his foot as he usually does. He fooled the keeper into thinking he'd try the old fashioned curl but went for a straight hard ball instead :) amazing. how far was that?

the ball was shot hard, which is unlike DP
the ball wasn't hit w/ the inside of the right foot, which is unlike DP
the distance was not DP's range

the keeper read it wrong and was surprised. the ball moved too fast he couldn't make it up.

in any case, i'm expecting 6 pts from BATE and so we'll have 9 pts, regardless of the other 3 games. then hoping for a draw from Russia trip, and either 2 draws w/ RM or a win and a loss and that'll be either 12 or 13pts and that should be enough for us to go through.

yea, i don't know what's going on. I rmb one time I even criticised him for his poor performance and thought that he really couldn't be helped any more. But now hes even going past opponents with flicks almost like when he was younger (he had more speed back then though). Just unbelievable as he's going 34 in November. Still so vital to the team.
