Basically how well do you think your team is going to do next season.
I think we (United) will be much improved and should finish top six. The rebuilding work should pay off and I have faith in McCall and what he is doing and I think he can turn us around to where we wanna be.
Well I hope that Celtic finish first in the league, I also think that we buy a few new players, such as yakin. IMO he'll be good for us in midfield, he will replace the slot that morachick(sp?) left. I also think that we could do with another defender, to bolster our defence.

I think we will finnish 10th or higher. We have lost loads of players, 4 of our best are away, which did hurt. But; we have brought players in who need to prove themselves in the top league(Grady,Bonnes,Stuart Taylor and John Paul McBride amongst others) I feel we have brought in enough good players to survive again, and if we can do it, it will be another great season.
As for the Arabs, they have made some great signings, Archi and Paterson are both high quality defenders. Kerr is a great prospect and Bulloch a safe keeper, I think they might get 3rd. In saying that, il take us for a 2-0 win against them at Firhill in September. (Archibald OG, Paterson OG)

I hope celtic finish first, and that they have a good champions league campaign. Any of you guys have any idea of what might happens with rangers?

Where's the CL final being held this year, I need to get in for a ticket early, beat the Bhoys rush :)
Treble for me :king and a good CL run would be nice !
Seriously, I'm looking more for a good euro run with some excellent teams getting humped home and away by us :o
AC Milan have already "Bottled" it, obviously did not want a heavy defeat

The current champions and ahem...Treble winners ;) are having a good few financial problems and some cost cutting measures are being put into motion.
A few players have gone or are in the process of going and some players have been asked to take a pay cut apparently.
How this will affect the team has yet to be seen but it doesnt bode well at Ibrox at the moment.
Like CB I hope the 'Gers have a good run in Europe purely for financial reasons.
The main thing domestically is the league chamionship which may be hard to hold onto but hopefully Big Ecks can rally the lads once more.

Not been impressed with Rangers Buys V players leaving, however a couple of good players in before the start of the season will lift spirits I'm sure (Damn)
Must be the good results Celtic had last season, but I am optimistic as hell for this coming campaign, I hope the home teams give a stronger challenge to the OF (More to Rangers of course), and ALL our teams in europe do well.
Roll on the new season :clap

Thanks for that wee review of how you think we will do Firhill, it's nice to hear someone saying they think we will do with without looking throught the tangerine tinted glasses. What do you think of Archibald? Not much was said in the press here about him when we were after him, they were mainly going on about Paterson because he had signed a pre contract and was frozen out at Thistle. Aparantly Alan got your player of the season, this true?

Archibald is a superb defender, well for Thistle anyway, the only club he has played for. A great tackler, gives 100%, good in the air. A quality player, he should be a regular for youse, i think Mcall has seen enough of him(in the SPL,1st and 2nd division) to know he can do a job. There were loads of POTY's given out and I think Archi won the most. Both him and Kenny Arthur dominated the awards, and quite rightly so.
