"What makes me laugh is that I thought this was a fair league when Inter drew with Siena.
"We deserved to win it and had we done so it would have been without the help of others.
"We are disappointed with the way in which we lost the Scudetto. Especially if we think about the penalty against Torino and the game against Livorno.
"We really believed in it but it didn't go our way and so we end the Championship with our heads held high."

“I may be bitter, but I will not forget that in the two months when Inter had the most difficulties, they won the way everyone saw,” roared De Rossi.
“I did not want to say this before the last game because I didn’t like to further charge up the decisive Sunday, but those are my views on this season.”
Inter midfielder Dejan Stankovic has branded those who are against Inter as haters, although he did compliment Roma for their Serie A campaign.
“I thank Stankovic, but it’s easy to give compliments when you win. It’s more difficult for me to compliment them, especially with the way they won it,”

"Roma and our fans deserved this Scudetto, we wanted and tried to win it but we were not able to," said Mexes.
"We are very angry with the way things have gone but all I can say is forza Roma.
"We will always be high achievers and this was a great season, we could and should have won the league earlier however.
"We didn't give up at Catania we were just tired mentally.
"Complimets to Inter but also to ourselves because we fought until the end and we have showed that we have imporved over the years.
"We deserve more, bigger and better things, but we have to look at next season now and try and go one better.
"We want to beat them in the Coppa Italia and we will show everyone that we are the strongest side in Italy."

mexes did at the very least say compliments to inter but to actually say roma DESERVE the scudetto on the day you lose it is very bitter of them in my eyes, not one person has said "well done inter, you deserve it" from roma, the seasons over grit your teeth don't moan yet again which we've seen everyone do all season, even the juve guys on this forum congratulated inter and said inter deserve it and they must hate inter more than any roma player!
