I don't really see the point much in this thread...
every Juve fan will of course wants giovinco as he's one of the hottest prospects and on top of that is from Turin. Besides they are both different. While we seriously need some creative force in the midfield, we don't need anymore players upfront. DP, Trez, Iaquinta (who is pretty similar to Amauri), and Palladino are good enough.
Besides Giovinco can be a forward due to his versatility so not much of a poll here.

galleria zoom Giovinco is widely regarded as one of the most best young talents in the Italian peninsula, and a certain future Azzurri international.
The 21-year-old fantasista is currently owned by Juventus, but he has spent the season on-loan at Empoli, where he has scored five goals in 29 appearances.
There has been much speculation in the Italian media over the past few weeks over where Giovinco’s future lies next season.
Reportedly Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco wanted to sell Giovinco, along with fellow youngsters Claudio Marchisio and Paolo De Ceglie, and was only stopped in his tracks when Coach Claudio Ranieri vetoed the deal.
It now seems that Secco has come round to the idea of keeping Giovinco, and the player’s agent Claudio Pasqualin has confirmed that he has held positive talks with the transfer director.
"It is still not official, but Juventus are moving in the direction for Giovinco to return to play for them next season,” Pasqualin told Radio Kiss Kiss.
Giovinco is the current star of the Italy Under-21 national team, and there have even been calls for him to earn a late call-up for the senior side at Euro 2008.

i thought i was missing something. i dont understand why we would want amauri. giovinco is a necessity. amauri shouldn't be looked at.
Why not both?
What player can last a full season nowadays?
