On a lighter note!! I have just realized who would make an ideal signing for theTOON Can anyone out there remember =====wait for it =====<b>ROY OF THE ROVERS!!!!! his team I think were called MELCHESTER ROVERS Eh what a team they were, they never lost a game,tell you what they would have buried Man-ure. But best of all he never got any older a real classy player. Yes definitely should try to secure his services==any feed back eh??? :) :cool

I've heard he's asking for a ridiculous salary to take him away from Melchester and to be honest I cant see his wife and kids settling in Newcastle. Changing the kids schools at their age would be very disruptive.

He is surely in the twilight of his career and I think Newcastle should continue to look to the future by investing in younger players a la Dyer and Jenas. A better suggestion has to be Ball Boy as featured in the, emm I cant remember now. He was young and quick, anybody know who he plays for now?
