I want to talk here about the new gernerations of the CDs, i will choose from each main club as a representative.

Bayern: Hummels ,1988,190cms,has already been a profit player, and will play for Dortmund
in next season on loan, heaped highly by Bayern leaders
Leverkusen:Reinartz ,1988,188cms, also has been promoted to the first team, and attended several games on the bench
Schalk04: Hoewdes, 1988,184cms, compared to the above two, he is a littel small as a central defender, already has some bundesliga expierence,

And i have to mention Pezzoni from Koeln, 1989,190cms, has just been brought by DAUM from england.he might has a italion origion . With marin ,he is one of the only two 89 players in the U21 of germany. Through a lot of signs, he seems a very good prospect .

Please give your comments on these young players, do you think germany will have the most strong defence in the future?

do not know any. maybe the 'true' germany-based friends can comments?

btw, with the exception of Metzelder + Mertescaker who developed at relatively young age, some defenders (and also some players in other position as well) are late bloomers, meaning they only become good players/show their true class after they are 25/26++..

:) That's a EA-sports FIFA 2007 term. But I totally support the idea. A player like Schneider shined only when he approached his 28th birthday.

I'm sure that term was used way before that game.
